Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely load and unload trailers and trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with high accuracy and speed.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Minimum education requirement.
- Previous Warehouse Experience: Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or fulfillment centers is highly preferred.
- Ability to Work Nights: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift license is a plus but not strictly required (training provided).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
