Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and prepare merchandise for shipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels and conduct regular inventory counts and audits.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets quality standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow employees to meet daily productivity targets.
- Stock Organization: Keep storage areas organized and tidy to facilitate efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a strong plus.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification is preferred but not required (training available).
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous employment.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
