Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily safety inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and updating stock levels in the system.
- Organize stockpiles and ensure aisles are clear for safe passage of forklifts and pedestrians.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
- Keep the work area clean and organized to prevent accidents and ensure efficiency.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying temperatures.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in handling inventory.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic counting and quantity verification.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.
