Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load and unload trailers efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels and organize warehouse inventory to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on powered industrial trucks (PIT) and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to meet daily production targets.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Experience Level: No prior forklift experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- License: Must be able to obtain a forklift certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical Requirements: Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and navigating uneven surfaces.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) and rotating shifts.
