Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, scan, and organize stock to maintain precise inventory records.
- Maintenance Checks: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of obstructions to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are looking for enthusiastic candidates willing to learn; prior forklift experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional overtime.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Basic Skills: Good reading comprehension and basic math skills for inventory counts.
- Clean Record: Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
