Responsibilities
- Accurately pack and seal orders according to specifications using proper materials
- Scan and verify order details against pick tickets to ensure 99.9% accuracy
- Operate automated packaging equipment and handheld scanners efficiently
- Inspect products for damage/defects and report quality issues immediately
- Maintain organized staging areas and clean workstations per 5S standards
- Collaborate with pickers and shipping teams to meet daily volume targets
- Participate in quarterly inventory audits with <1% variance tolerance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required)
- 6+ months warehouse/packing experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand 8+ hours per shift
- Basic math skills for order verification and inventory counting
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency with RF scanners and WMS systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons (Nov-Dec)
