Responsibilities
- Packing & Labeling: Accurately pack, seal, and label customer orders according to specific shipping guidelines and quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Cross-reference orders with inventory lists and ensure all items are accounted for before shipment.
- Equipment Operation: Utilize provided packing equipment (tampers, shrink wrap machines) and handheld scanners to process orders efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects, damage, or incorrect specifications prior to packaging.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep packing stations organized, clean, and safe in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to optimize workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or order fulfillment is preferred but not required (we provide on-the-job training).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and move around the warehouse floor.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in fast-paced environments.
- Equipment Proficiency: Comfortable using basic technology such as handheld scanners and computers.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation and be available to work scheduled shifts, including weekends.
