Responsibilities
- Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials to ensure safe transit and prevent damage.
- Verify accuracy of orders against packing slips and labels before shipment.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels.
- Ensure the packing station and surrounding areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Assist in the receiving process by unloading shipments and checking for damages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize packing workflows and improve overall efficiency.
- Label packages accurately with shipping addresses and barcodes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or retail stocking role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
