Responsibilities
- Oversee daily receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to maintain stock integrity.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff to maximize productivity and morale.
- Analyze operational workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain integration and timely order fulfillment.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on warehouse performance metrics.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations and supervision.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead effectively.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
