Responsibilities
- Process Orders: Receive, verify, and accurately pack customer orders using RF scanners and packing slips.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure proper packaging materials are used and items are securely wrapped to prevent damage during transit.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and stock organization within the warehouse.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily productivity targets.
- Load Preparation: Prepare pallets for shipping and ensure loading docks are organized for outbound trucks.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours) and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order fulfillment.
- Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic and reading instructions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime, nights, and weekends as business demands.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus but not required.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
