Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move freight, packages, and materials safely and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick and pack orders to meet daily production targets and quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels through regular stock checks and cycle counts.
- Organization: Keep workstations, aisles, and shipping areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work overnight shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills; ability to work well within a team.
