Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to ensure inventory is moved efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Sort, check, and organize stock within the cold storage facility to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Environmental Control: Monitor and maintain strict temperature control standards to ensure product quality and safety.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with sanitation standards.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in packing orders, labeling shipments, and preparing goods for local and regional delivery.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in a cold environment (35°F - 40°F).
- Driver's License: Must possess a valid, clean driver's license (Class C).
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a focus on attendance and punctuality.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but not required for applicants willing to undergo training.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Background Check: Must be willing to pass a background check and drug screening.
