Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods in and out of the freezer facility.
- Maintain temperature controls: Regularly check and log freezer temperatures to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Pick and pack orders: Accurately gather customer orders and prepare them for shipment using RF scanners.
- Ensure safety compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Inventory management: Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory organization within the warehouse.
- Facility maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
- Assist with quality control: Inspect products for damage and report any issues to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn: No prior experience required; paid training provided for the right candidates.
- Temperature tolerance: Ability to work effectively in environments below 10°F (-12°C).
- Physical stamina: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Valid ID: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Basic math skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic arithmetic.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and committed to a full-time schedule.
