Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage zones
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Organize inventory according to FIFO protocols and system requirements
- Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and storage areas
- Assist with inventory counts and documentation in WMS systems
- Adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards for cold environments
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in 0-40°F (-18-4°C) environments for extended periods
- Basic forklift certification or willingness to obtain training
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability (evenings/weekends)
