Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring and documentation in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate electric pallet jacks and cold storage equipment following OSHA safety protocols
- Inspect and rotate inventory using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) methodology
- Sanitize and maintain cleanliness of storage racks, floors, and equipment
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments using proper material handling techniques
- Complete digital inventory logs and quality control reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F for extended periods
- Valid California driver's license and forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8-hour shifts
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
