Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated storage areas
- Accurately track and organize inventory using warehouse management systems
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily quality checks on refrigeration equipment and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols and HACCP standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain detailed logs of inventory movements and temperature records
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in environments with temperatures as low as -10°F
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain company certification
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible availability including early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Valid California driver's license (if operating company vehicles)
