Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient product movement
- Perform inventory counts and cycle checks using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict sanitation protocols and HACCP compliance standards
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques for temperature-sensitive items
- Document inventory movements and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Participate in facility safety drills and maintain OSHA compliance
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible availability including early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Valid Texas driver's license (if operating company vehicles)
