Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in cold storage facilities
- Organize and rotate inventory to ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) compliance
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely within refrigerated environments
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for quality and temperature compliance
- Maintain strict sanitation standards and clean storage areas regularly
- Document inventory movements and equipment maintenance logs accurately
- Collaborate with team to ensure efficient loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F-40°F) for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and equipment operation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 6+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience a plus
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
