Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials in and out of the warehouse.
- Ensure all materials are stored safely and organized according to inventory standards.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe working order.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Forklift License) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and order verification.
