Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate electric or gas-powered forklifts to load, unload, and transport pallets and materials.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies; perform daily pre-shift safety inspections of the forklift.
- Inventory Management: Check incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, ensuring proper labeling and placement in designated storage areas.
- Stock Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment; report damaged goods or equipment immediately.
- Load & Unload: Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks, ensuring materials are secured properly for transport.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred but not required; we offer paid training for the right candidates.
- License: Must possess a valid forklift certification or be willing to obtain one.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Availability: Must be available for Part-Time shifts, including weekends or evenings if necessary.
