Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and stage materials.
- Pre-Shift Checks: Perform daily inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure they meet safety standards before use.
- Inventory Handling: Assist in organizing stock, verifying shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Team Support: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator license (OSHA 10 or 30 preferred).
- Experience: Prior experience in warehouse operations or material handling.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and attention to detail.
