Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets of inventory safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading operations
- Assist in maintaining organized, clean workspaces
- Support cross-functional tasks as needed during peak periods
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 6 months of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts (mornings, afternoons, or evenings)
