Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and loading dock areas
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting maintenance issues promptly
- Load/unload trucks using RF scanners and pallet jacks
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized workspaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving goals
- Complete accurate inventory documentation using warehouse management systems
Qualifications
- Valid California forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 6 months prior forklift experience in warehouse environment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and order verification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Flexibility to work evenings (4pm-12am) and weekends
- Positive attitude and willingness to cross-train in other warehouse roles
