Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse
- Load/unload trucks while adhering to weight distribution protocols
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Maintain clean, organized work areas following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with team to optimize loading dock workflows
- Complete shift reports and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Flexible availability during daytime shifts (Mon-Fri)
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
