Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials efficiently throughout the warehouse
- Load/unload trucks and containers while ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company procedures at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent workplace hazards
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment processes as needed
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain company-sponsored certification)
- Minimum 6 months of prior forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to/from flexible shift schedules (evenings/weekends)
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with team
