Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper working order and safety compliance.
- Verify and count incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure accuracy against warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the staging of shipments and the organization of stockpiles.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and inventory managers regarding stock levels and potential issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating powered industrial equipment in a warehouse setting preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail.
