Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the facility and to/from delivery trucks.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure stock levels are correct.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Stack and organize pallets in a manner that prevents damage to goods and ensures stability.
- Assist with general warehouse duties such as sweeping, organizing aisles, and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
