About the Role:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse facility. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our inventory flow and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload freight from trucks, railcars, or shipping platforms.
- Stack and organize products on pallets or racks according to safety guidelines.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for inventory management.
