As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of our logistics operations, ensuring that inventory is moved efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in good working order.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Verify inventory counts and accurately document stock movements using warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Must be able to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good balance, coordination, and manual dexterity for operating heavy machinery.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
