Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of all equipment to ensure proper working order and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated zones to ensure efficient warehouse flow and retrieval.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments using scanners and required documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and safety benchmarks.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including picking and packing orders.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFP) or valid operator's license required.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a fast-paced warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, warehouse procedures, and material handling best practices.
- Reliable attendance record and proven punctuality are essential for this role.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
