Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure safety and compliance.
- Conduct accurate inventory counts and manage stock rotation to ensure product freshness and availability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company housekeeping policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Prepare and organize pallets for shipping according to shipping labels and company standards.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (CDL Class A/B not required, but preferred).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting is strongly preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail.
