Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all OSHA regulations.
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to and from delivery trucks.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in proper working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movements.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe environment for all staff.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including packing and shipping orders.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class 1 or Class 3) required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work weekends or evenings as required by business needs.
