Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials, parts, and products to and from storage and production areas.
- Load and unload trucks safely, verifying quantities against manifests.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
- Organize and maintain a clean, clutter-free workspace to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory verification.
