Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and updating warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely order fulfillment and pallet organization.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse equipment.
