Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, tag, and stock inventory to maintain organized storage systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Packaging & Labeling: Properly package and label shipments to ensure they are ready for distribution.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine visual inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid state driver's license is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic arithmetic calculations.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new operational procedures.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends if needed.
