Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stock counting, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Palletizing: Properly palletize goods to ensure stability during transit and storage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff regarding inventory status and logistical needs.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts is highly preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
