As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding the highest safety standards in our facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including counting stock and labeling pallets accurately.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Ensure proper documentation of all materials handled during shifts.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for long periods.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
