Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and organizing stock correctly.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including sweeping, organizing, and maintaining a clean work area.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments for outbound delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and material handling best practices.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule including nights and weekends.
