Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe, working condition.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy of quantities and types of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
- Follow all company policies and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Valid Driver’s License (not always required, but a plus).
