Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily inventory checks and accurate stock placement to maintain inventory integrity.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards (5S standards).
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize shipping and receiving schedules and workflows.
- Report any mechanical issues with equipment or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and hazard prevention.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and tasks.
