Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Sit-down, Reach, or Pallet Jacks) to move materials within the warehouse and loading docks efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Perform daily inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock movements using RF scanners.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, strictly adhering to OSHA regulations.
- Follow all company safety protocols and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping, receiving, and storage targets.
- Keep the warehouse aisles clear and ensure proper labeling of inventory.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting and strong attention to detail.
- Attitude: Strong commitment to safety and a positive team-oriented attitude.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends or nights if necessary.
