Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and pallet jacks efficiently.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation and labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety compliance at all times.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and report any malfunctions to management.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and shipping targets.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for distribution.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA preferred) or willing to obtain certification.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork.
- Valid driver's license (not always required for warehouse roles).
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus but not required.
