We are seeking a motivated Forklift Operator to ensure our inventory moves smoothly from receiving to shipping.
Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Perform daily safety inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts before and after shifts.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments by checking quantities, labels, and damage status.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate stock placement in designated storage areas.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet daily production targets.
- Keep the warehouse aisles, dock areas, and workspaces organized and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFPO) license is required; Reach Truck experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork accuracy.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions (loading dock environment).
