Responsibilities
- Receiving and Processing: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Inventory Management: Organize and stock warehouse inventory, ensuring items are properly labeled and located for efficient retrieval.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, utilizing RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as required.
- Stock Control: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and math skills; familiarity with RF scanners or WMS is a plus.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, trustworthy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license may be required for warehouse transport duties.
