Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks and containers, verifying contents against shipping documents.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate cycle counts and maintain organized stockpiles.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare, pack, and label products for domestic and international shipments.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners in compliance with safety regulations.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies immediately to supervisors.
- Documentation: Update logistics software and paper records to track incoming and outgoing shipments.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work a rotating shift schedule as needed.
- Documentation: Ability to read and interpret shipping orders and labels.
