Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to priority schedules
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) with OSHA compliance
- Process incoming shipments and verify documentation against purchase orders
- Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S methodology
- Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in monthly safety briefings
- Collaborate with overnight team to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
