Job Overview
As a Picker Packer, you will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. This role is critical to our daily operations and requires a focus on detail and speed.
Responsibilities
- Pull and prepare merchandise for shipment using pick lists and scanners.
- Pack items securely into appropriate boxes, ensuring proper labeling and weight distribution.
- Inspect products for damage and ensure quality control standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to update inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Reliable transportation to the New York facility.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
