Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging items into the warehouse management system.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and safe to prevent accidents and ensure easy access to stock.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure all products meet quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting; ability to read and comprehend labels and instructions.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation and a consistent attendance record.
- Equipment: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
