Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload goods from trucks and trailers using appropriate equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts).
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage items for shipment, ensuring inventory accuracy and organization.
- Equipment Handling: Inspect and operate warehouse machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure efficient workflow.
- Documentation: Assist in the completion of shipping documents and inventory logs as required.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a strong work history and be punctual for scheduled shifts.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Driving: Valid driver’s license is required.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is a plus but not mandatory.
