Responsibilities
- Safe Material Handling: Safely load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Verification: Accurately inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify counts against packing lists.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- Documentation: Properly complete paperwork and scanning requirements for every shipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends or evenings.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and attendance.
